As part of Experiment 2 two influential architects or architectural firm were carefully studied. Their message, style and architectural approach was integral to the development of exciting and new concepts.
Rural Studio:
- Establishing the ethos of recycling, reusing and remaking.
- Studio questions what should be built rather than what can be built.
Adolf Loos:
- He had a tendency to ziggurat, or to plainly terrace, or do both at the same time.
- Man with modern nerves.
- Loos equates ornament with savagery.
